Announcing Newest Additions to the IVA Team
Intervention Associates “IVA” is pleased to announce that two Professional Care Managers have joined the team. Join us in welcoming Anna Kozlowska and Deborah George. Anna is new to IVA, and Deborah is happily returning to the organization after a hiatus of years working in other places and further honing her knowledge.
Anna Kozlowska has joined Intervention Associates with a background in gerontology and a passion for improving quality of life of the geriatric population. Anna has been working with a diverse population of older adults providing services and care management in the community, as well as in an assisted living, senior center, and adult day center. Anna also had an honor of assisting veterans experiencing homelessness access and maintain permanent housing. With expertise and compassion, Anna has been able to help her clients overcome crises and realize their goals in challenging situations. Anna has a MS in gerontology form Hofstra University, and is currently pursuing clinical social work credentials at Bryn Mawr College.
Deborah George received her dual Masters in Social Services and Law & Social Policy at Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work. She has spent over 30 years in nursing and rehabilitation centers. Her roles have included director of social work, case manager and clinical consultant. And she has traveled across the tri-state area training and supporting hundreds of skilled nursing facility social workers. She and her husband Brian have four grown children and her new joy is her 3 grandbabies. She is a Deacon in her church where she also serves as the parish social worker. Deborah returned to Intervention Associates in 2020 after enjoying working for the organization in the late 1990’s. She is very happy to again serve IVA clients.
